Australia directed by Baz Luhrmann, and starring Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman brings to life the true spirit of the Australian outback in a romantic epic of action and adventure.

Set in the fictional homestead of Faraway Downs on the brink of World War 11, Australia is the story of an English aristocrat, Lade Sarah Ashley (Nicole Kidman) who travels to a faraway country where she meets a rough-hewn local (Hugh Jackman).

Together, they embark on a journey across Australia’s most beautiful and rugged terrain.

The red and rugged landscape of the East Kimberley will feature strongly in Australia.

In addition to Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman, Australia stars a wealth of Australian talent including David Wenham, Jack Thompson, Bryan Brown and David Gulpilil.

It also introduces to the screen, Broome’s Brandon Walters as Nullah, the boy who steals Lady Ashley’s heart.
